this is the nicest non-luxury hotel i have ever stayed in! the rooms are so nice and clean with huge windows and great ammenties. the gym is the best hotel gym i have ever seen (full weight rack included), everyone was super nice and the breakfast had great options. it was also so reasonably priced. don’t bother even looking at other hotels, stay here

Passing through town on a long road trip - chose this hotel based on location, and being an IHG member. Utilized the workout facility - better than almost ANY I have used in years!!!!! Slept well - clean and warm. Breakfast was fresh still …

We travel to Madison every Christmas (20+ years). We used to shop hotels for price. After experiencing the Holiday Inn Express on High Crossing Blvw, we just stay there. From our perspective, it is the best value in Madison in terms of quality for the price.

Just stayed for one night. Check in was smooth although I asked not to be put near the elevator and I was in the room right next to the elevator. For the one night I was there I just dealt with it. Beds were pretty hard for my preference but for those that like a hard mattress, they will enjoy. Breakfast was “eh” at best. 1 sausage link left, no gravy for the biscuits and gravy. No cream cheese for bagels, no pancake machine, no hot cocoa in the hot water station, no chocolate milk, orange juice was out, bacon looked undercooked…and we ate at 7:45 in the morning on a Wednesday. There were only two other people eating breakfast at the time. Not the best experience but the location was good, rooms were a good size.

Shane the shuttle driver picked me up from the airport, on the way back to the hotel gave me details on the town and places to eat and visit. During my 5 day stay he shuttled my friends and I to great places to eat. Great personality. The other staff was very friendly as well. Hotel is also in a great location not too far from the store and places to eat. Also right across from the lake. Would gladly recommend this place

FAVORITE HOTEL! I’ve been staying here on a weekly basis since April 2023 and I will forever be grateful for all staff. A special thanks and shout out to Alex, Chris, and Sam. I am always greeted by Alex with a cheerful attitude and he makes my check-in very smooth and quick! Thank you for helping with my shuttle schedule. Chris is also a rockstar. He always makes sure I am taken care of and his kind and genuine personality makes me feel so welcome. He is quick to provide any amenities requested and has personally delivered them to my room in the past. Sam is WONDERFUL! he goes above and beyond as well to accommodate any requests or questions I may have. The rooms are always big and clean. I love how there is a microwave and mini fridge each time and daily room service. I will continue to stay here because of the excellent staff and hospitality. If you’re traveling through Madison or staying for a vacation, this Holiday Inn is one of a kind. To start, this location is new and well kept. The rooms are very clean and the cleaning crew does a fantastic job each and every day of your stay. The hotel associates are very kind and helpful. In particular, Sam at the front desk is “The Man” because of his true and genuine attitude towards his job and making you feel comfortable and appreciated. Thank you Sam and thank you Holiday Inn for a great place to stay while in Madison!
